Monitoring of industrial waste water
The Netilion Smart System in use at Schweizer Salinen
With salt produced at various locations, Schweizer Salinen supplies the whole of Switzerland with salt. With Netilion, the company has taken a further step towards digitalization. With the help of the Smart System App, the Netilion Smart System enables permanent monitoring of the industrial waste water.
Results
-
Permanent monitoring of the recorded analytical measured values of the industrial waste water, regardless of location
-
Diagnostic information on the condition of the sensors
-
Data export to Excel
-
Easy and fast access to the sensors for cleaning and calibration
The challenge
Previously, Schweizer Salinen used a sampler from a different provider for monitoring industrial waste water. However, this antiquated installation was no longer capable of meeting today's requirements. This fact, coupled with the ongoing digitalization of Schweizer Salinen, led to the existing system being replaced.
Our solution
The Netilion Smart System for surface water guarantees the reliable monitoring of the quality parameters required by the cantonal administration:
Turbidity: Turbimax CUS52D smart sensor measures turbidity with precision and enables low-maintennace operation.
Conductivity: Indumax CLS50D is a digital inductive conductivity sensor made from robust materials, offering high chemical resistance.
pH: Orbipac CPF81D pH sensor is ideal for harsh environments.
The customer uses the measured values in their ProLeiT process control system to control the quality parameter processes. The Integration of the measurements takes place via the Liquiline‘s 4 to 20 mA interface. The Modbus Edge Device transmits the data to the Netilion Cloud. Current measured values and instrument-related information can be easily accessed via the app.
